Put 99 needles and pushers in work on both
FB & BB from L50 - R49.
Starting on the left, put every 10th pusher out of work on both
beds.
Handle down, orange strippers
Cast on with 1 strand of fine yarn.
N/N - s.s. 2 Knit 1 row
CX/CX - s.s. 3 Knit 2 rows
N/N - s.s. 4 Knit 1 row
Lock on s.s. 4.5/4.5 E6000 [DM 80] lock
setting directions:
AX/KX [AX/AX] - Knit 5 rows
N/N [N/N] - Knit 5 rows
AX/KX [AX/AX] - Knit 5 rows
N/N [N/N] - Knit 1 row
Transfer BB sts. to the FB.
Knit 1 row to the left. Transfer every other stitch to an
adjacent needle and put empty needles and pushers out of work.
Knit 1 row to the right.
Use tapestry needle to take off stitches on the yarn tail.
Gather and roll to form the rose. Use yarn tail to secure the
gathered edge.
