Note: Abraham Palmer a merchant from London who there had joined the patentees of Massachusetts. In 1628 gave 50 pounds to promote its objectives and emigrated himself in 16289, probably with Higginson. Was made freeman in May 18, 1630 in Boston. Lived in Charlestown with wife, Grace. Was in the first assembly of representatives in 1634 and served in the Pequot War. Went to Barbados in 1652 in the Mayflower of Boston. Died in Barbados in 1653. Grace died December 1660.
