Round, Reuben (b. 9 FEB 1782, d. 2 APR 1863)
Note: Reuben left Stephentown and moved to Dunham, Canada East (now in the Prov. of Quebec).

Reuben moved to Berkshire Township, Franklin Co, VT. There he built a 1-room log cable near a spring on him farm. The last 10 of their 14 children were born in that log cabin. About 1830 Reuben, with the help of some of his older sons, built a large single-story frame house.

Round, Lester (b. 11 MAY 1805, d. 28 DEC 1888)
Note: In 1839, Lester Richford, VT with his family in a wagon, and joined
brothers Horace, James and Thomas in Southport [later Kenosha]
Wisconsin Territory.

In 1844 he moved his family to Fond du Lac County and joined the
Community of Fourierites at Ceresco [now Ripon], and became their
secretary. It became "The Wisconsin Phalanx," and sold stock.

As a result of various frictions, petty jealousies and dissensions,
the Phalanx started to dissolve. Lester was one of the first to
leave, in 1848 moving his family to Waukau, Rushford Township,
Winnebago Co, where he set up a general store. Then, in the valley of
the Fox River, Lester set up a store in Eureka, which he continued
until months before his death.
