Haskins, Enos Seward (b. 16 JUL 1835, d. 6 APR 1928)
Note: Enos Seward Haskins was married to Hannah Simpson in 1855 and they had one daughter born in 1856, Mila Ann, who died on Sep. 21, 1861 at the age of 5 [1 week after Enos enlisted] . Enos enlisted in the Civil War on Sep. 14, 1861 with Co. B, 10th Wis. Infantry along with his brother, Martin. He served as a Sergeant and then Corporal. He was transferred to Veteran Reserve Corps on Oct. 16, 1863.
In Mar 1874, Hannah died and Enos remarried Emma McDonald in Oct. 1874 in Waupun, Wis. where he was living.
Enos filed for a military pension Feb. 22, 1881 due to a "disease to the right lung" contracted during military duty at the Battle of Stone River, Tenn. His military records show that he was treated at Bridgeport, LA in Aug. 1863 and Chattanooga, Tenn. in Nov. 1863.
On Jan. 27, 1892, Enos applied for an Invalid Pension in Coleman, Moody, South Dakota where he was living in 1900. Enos and Emma moved to Santa Cruz, CA about 1902.
Emma filed for a widow's pension 19 Apr. 1928

Note: In 1860, John Foreman was living in Caldwells Prairie, Waterford, Racine Co., Wisconsin as farm labor for Lorenzo Hoover. His children, Henry & Sarah, were also living in the same household. In the same neighborhood was his son, John, Jr. who was working as farm labor for William Stoddard and his son, William, who was working for Ira Rice. His daughter, Frances was married and living in the same neighborhood. Frances reported on the 1900 census that she immigrated in 1854.
Henry Foreman gave his mother's name as Margaret Malen or Margaret Helen in 2 different sources, but this doesn't appear to be correct. John was not married in 1860 and he died in 1864. No widow applied for his Civil War pension.
