"Mrs. W. O. Tuttle received a message of the sudden death of her uncle, Mr. Ellison Haskins of Detroit, Mich. His remains were brought to Davis Corners where Mrs.Tuttle attended the funeral last Thursday."

Ellison never married. He worked for the railroad and lived in Detroit in 1920.

Note: Simon was a soldier under Capt Nicoles Jul 30, 1588 (year of the Spanish Armada). Simon was listed a freeholder (of land) at Ringstead 1604/5. In 1608, he was charged 4 shillings for expenses of musters. His will written Dec 19, 1627, describes him as a yeoman. He mentions eldest son Richard, youngest son William, 2nd son John, Isabell his wife, and his children's grandfather John Wells and son Thomas Deceased.
