Allis, William Lt. (b. , d. 6 SEP 1678)
Note: William Allis was the emigrant ancestor. He was at Braintree, Mass. in 1640 where he was a deacon and where all his children were born. He removed to Hatfield about 1661 where he was a leading citizen, Lieut. commanding the Hampshire County troop; on commission to lay out Squakeage [Northfield] in 1672 and Swampfield in 1674.
