Note: On the 1860 census for Crystal Lake Township in Marquette County, Wis, Julia is shown as "Jerusha", but she went by Julia all her life. Since her grandmother's name was Jerusha Richmond Hewitt, she was probably born Jerusha Gaffney, but changed it to Julia.
From 1868 to 1870, Daniel & Julia lived in Fond du Lac County. In 1880, they were living in Caledonia Township, just outside New London in Waupaca County. They moved to Maine Township north of Shiocton.
