Note: Court Record, Page 61-6 August, 1745: The last will and testa-
ment of Joseph Seager, late of Simsbury, was now exhibited in Court by
the executors. Proven. Exhibited an inventory, which was proven and
ordered to be kept on file.
Page 62-6 August, 1745: Mehetabell Seager, age 15 years, and
Elizabeth Seager, age 12 years, children of Joseph Seager, chose their
brother Joseph Seager to be their guardian. Recog., £400. John Seager,
age 17 years, son of Joseph Seager, chose Thomas Addams to be his
guardian. Recog., £300.
Page 17 (Vol. XV) 7 July, 1746: Joseph Seager, who was ap-
pointed guardian to Elizabeth Seager and Mehetabel Seager, minor chil-
dren, now for divers reasons desires to be dismissed from the trust of
guardian to the sd. minors: Whereupon this Court do dismiss the sd. Jo-
seph from the trust thereof, and the sd. minors, Mehetabell, 16 years, and
Elizabeth, 13, made choice of John Brown of Windsor to be their guar-
dian. Recog., £500.

to John Seager, desires to be discharged from his guardianship: Where-
upon this Court discharges sd. Addams, and the sd. minor now made
choice of Capt. James Goodrich of sd. Simsbury to be his guardian.

Page 21-7 May, 1746: Joseph Seager, Mary Seager and Lemuel
Roberts, executors to the last will of the deceased, moved to this Court
for a distribution of sd. estate according to the will: Whereupon this
Court appoint Capt. James Case, John Case and Michael Humphrey, of
Simsbury, distributors.
