Whipple, John Capt. (b. 11 OCT 1743, d. 28 MAY 1832)
Note: [History of Ipswich...] His parents were John and Martha.
He m. Martha Cogswell, who d. March 29th, 1816. He married widow Susannah [Cogswell] Robertson, sister to his first wife, Jan. 15th, 1819, who survived him. He d. May 28th, 1832, at age 89, and left five children. He sustained town offices, was active to promote the cause of Independence, and was an officer in the cavalry at the capture of Burgoyne.

Lloyd, Solomon (b. NOV 1850, d. 24 FEB 1924)
Note: Family history says that the Lloyd brothers, Richard and Solomon, moved to St. Charles, Winona Co., Minn. in 1880 where they began a blacksmith shop. When a tornado destroyed their business, Richard moved West and Solomon moved to Dover, Olmsted Co., Minn. which is where he was living in 1900. Richard did not move West, but some of his children did.
