Boodry, John (b. ABT 1848, d. ?)

Note: John Boodry,* the son of Thomas Boodry, was born in 1847 and lived in Sandy River Plantation before enlisting from Rangeley in Company F, 2nd Maine Cavalry, on December 11, 1863. He died in New Orleans on October 19, 1864, and is buried at the Chalmette (Louisiana) National Cemetery.

Boodry, Lucinda (b. , d. ?)
Note: Andrew J. Thompson * was a 30 year-old married shoemaker who lived in Rangeley Plantation and was married to Lucinda Boodry, a daughter of Thomas Boodry, when he enlisted from Rangeley in Company E, 13th Maine Infantry, on December 10, 1861. He died in New Orleans on December 7, 1862, when the regiment was at Fort Macomb, Mississippi. His wife died in 1904 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery. Stones for Thompson, his wife, and two of their children are at the Nile Cemetery, Dallas Plantation.

Boodry, Martha (b. ABT 1843, d. ?)
Note: Allen Rowe * was born in 1834, the son of Asaph and Judith Rowe and brother of Eben and Lewis (qv). In 1860, he was a laborer on the Henry Kimball farm in Rangeley. He was married to Martha Boodry, who died in 1863 at the age of 20 years, 10 months. In March, 1864, he enlisted from Rangeley in Company F, 2nd Maine Cavalry Regiment. His gravestone states that he died on July 1, 1864, aged 30 years and 10 months, at Brazier (Brashear) City, Louisiana, and according to his service record he died in a hospital. Rowe and his wife are buried at the Nile Cemetery, Dallas Plantation. Their daughter, Mary E. Rowe, applied in 1881 for a pension based on his service.
