Olsen, Erna G (b. 6 AUG 1912, d. 2 OCT 2005)

Note: Erna G. Wurtz, 93, of N4547 Mink Road, Eden, went home to meet her Savior on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005, while under hospice care at her daughter and son-in-law?s home.

She was born on Aug. 6, 1912, in North Fond du Lac, a daughter of Tharald T. and Edwinda Olsen Alve. Erna graduated from North Fond du Lac High School, Class of 1930.

On Feb. 22, 1936, she married Harold W. Wurtz at Calvary Lutheran University Church, Madison.

Mrs. Wurtz was a dedicated and loving mother and homemaker, who grew in her faith and love for her Lord Jesus Christ through the years. Her favorite Bible verses were from Matthew, Chapter 7: verses 7 and 8, ?Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened.? She was a member of Luther Memorial Church.

She is survived by four children, Karen Hayward of Milwaukee, Rondi (Anthony) Terracino of Ocklawaha, Fla., Jeffrey (Charlene) Wurtz of Cupertino, Calif., Joanna (Paul) Grahl of Eden; 10 grandchildren, Preston (Kelly) and Brion (Col-leen) Hayward, Marisa Black, Matthew Geboy, Amy, Peter and Sta-cey Wurtz, and Nate (Diane), Ken (Becky) and Esther Grahl; and 12 great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Harold on Sept. 8, 1985.
