Note: Edward and his son, Benjamin, are on the list of names surveyed assigned for Columbia Co., New York between 1757 and 1760. Served in the Revolutionary War as Private in the 9th Regiment- Albany Militia.
Birthdates of Edward's children don't seem right. There is a big gap between Stephen and Edward which might mean the later birthdates are incorrect. Most of the birthdates are subject to doubt.
Edward and family lived in Sharon, Conn. in 1740 and later moved to Columbia Co., NY. The Richmond family was one of the several "Squatters from the East" who settled in the Green River Valley.
