Frank S. COON was born November 12, 1871, at Crystal Lake, Marquette County, Wis., coming with his parents to Adams county in 1883 where he grew to manhood.
In 1896 he was united in marriage with Miss Marian BIDWELL of New Haven, which place has since been their home and where he has been highly esteemed by neighbors and friends.
He died April 27, 1917, leaving to mourn his loss a wife, three sons, Harold, Fay and Howard, two daughters, Floy and Hazel, besides a father, Edward B. COON, and a brother, Elmer COON, of New Haven, and a sister, Mrs. Clarence HECOCK of Scranton, North Dakota.
Funeral services were held at the house and at the Davis Corners church by the Modern Woodmen of which order he has been a member for more than twenty years. Rev. O. E. DeWitt officiated.
Transcriber's Note: Frank and Marian's marriage is registered in Adams County Wisconsin, Volume 2, Page 262. They were married July 12, 1896.
