He was born May 31, 1912, in Rosendale, Wis., the son of the late Harvey and Mabel (Trowbridge) Haskins. On Sept. 12, 1940, he was united in marriage to Agnes Lena DeBoth in Green Bay. The couple lived in Green Bay until moving to their present home at Cloverleaf Lakes in the Town of Belle Plaine in Shawano County. Delbert worked for several years at Manitowoc Shipyards and for many years as parts manager at the Ford garage and later at Goers dealership in Shawano until his retirement.

Following retirement Delbert worked several days each week for over 20 years at Clintonville Shopper’s Guide. He was a member of the Shawano Federation of Music and the Experimental Aircraft Association.

Survivors include: his wife, Agnes (Peggy); one daughter, Karen (Herbert) Zahn of Embarrass; two sons, Leon (Sherri) Haskins of Oshkosh, Keith (Janet) Haskins of Clintonville; four grandchildren, Susan Zahn of Silver Springs, Md., David (Jamie) Zahn of Bear Creek, Amy and Andy Haskins of Oshkosh; one great-granddaughter, Kaila Zahn of Bear Creek; four sisters-in-law, LaVern Madsen of Cottage Grove, Wis., Ann Haskins of Casco, Wis., Irvina Haskins of Green Bay, Irene Haskins of Green Bay.
